The following lists are all available channel and user modes on the network.

Legend:
$chan : Name of the channel in context (eg; #somechannel)
$nick : Name of the client in context (eg; Billybob)
$ident : Ident string of a client (eg; /whois $nick = [$nick is $ident@$host * $name])
$host : Hostmask or IP of a client (eg; /whois $nick = [$nick is $ident@$host * $name])
$name : Realname of a client (eg; /whois $nick = [$nick is $ident@$host * $name])
/cs : A server-side alias for /ChanServ
/ns : A server-side alias for /NickServ
/ms : A server-side alias for /MemoServ



ChanServ (Channel Server/Service)

For the most in-depth information on a command,
please use /chanserv help {command} while connected to the network.

Command Usage Example Required Level
ACCESS /ChanServ ACCESS $chan ADD $nick 40 HOP+ (40+)
Controls the access level for a channel (More advanced VOP/AOP/SOP/etc style of levels control). The given example would give $nick HOP (Level 40 Access) on $chan.
AKICK /ChanServ AKICK $chan ADD $nick!$ident@$host For breaking rules SOP+ (100+)
This grants an 'Auto-kick' to anyone matching the mask specified. This is useful for channels where users tend to all leave, as +b lists clear out when a room is fully empty, but an AKick will always keep a memory of the ban and auto-ban them again.
The example given will ban the given mask with the reason 'For breaking rules'
AOP /ChanServ AOP $chan ADD $nick SOP+ (100+)
Manages the Auto-CHANOP feature. Auto-CHANOP (AOP) grants auto +o if a client has it.
Given example would add $nick to the AOP list in $chan
CLEAR /ChanServ CLEAR $chan VOICES SOP+ (100+)
Clears modes/options on $chan based on the arguement given.
Given example clears all Voiced (+v)
DEHALFOP /ChanServ DEHALFOP $chan $nick AOP+ (50+)
Removes +h from $nick in $chan (This does not remove them from HOP if they have it)
DEOP /ChanServ DEOP $chan $nick AOP+ (50+)
Removes +o from $nick in $chan (This does not remove them from AOP if they have it)
DEPROTECT /ChanServ DEPROTECT $chan $nick SOP+ (100+)
Removes +a from $nick in $chan (This does not remove them from SOP if they have it)
DEVOICE /ChanServ DEVOICE $chan $nick HOP+ (40+)
Removes +v from $nick in $chan (This does not remove them from VOP if they have it)
DROP /ChanServ DROP $chan Founder
Drops the registration of $chan. This command can only be used by the Founder or a client that identified to the channel using the /CS IDENTIFY command.
HALFOP /ChanServ HALFOP $chan $nick AOP+ (50+)
Grants +h to $nick in $chan (This does not grant HOP to the client)
HOP /ChanServ HOP $chan ADD $nick AOP+ (50+)
Manages the Auto-HALFOP feature. Auto-HALFOP (HOP) grants auto +h if a client has it.
Given example would add $nick to the HOP list in $chan
IDENTIFY /ChanServ IDENTIFY $chan passwordhere Founder
Identify to the channel as a 'Founder'. Gives full control of channel services for that channel.
INFO /ChanServ INFO $chan [ALL] All Clients
Get information on the registration of a channel. Optional 'ALL' arguement at the end gives more even more info than usual.
INVITE /ChanServ INVITE $chan AOP+ (50+)
This command will allow AOP's or higher invite themselves into a channel past any key locks, invite restrictions, bans, etc.
KICK /ChanServ KICK $chan $nick AOP+ (50+)
Kicks $nick out of $chan. This command cannot kick Protected (+a) clients from the channel.
LEVELS /ChanServ LEVELS $chan LIST Founder
Advanced control of chanserv mode levels. Allows you to more finely set what level auth certain chanserv commands require for your channel.
Given example will display a list of current levels values for $chan
LIST /ChanServ LIST search All Clients
Uses ChanServ's built-in list from the search pattern given, returns all matching channels. * will return all non-private channels.
OP /ChanServ OP $chan $nick AOP+ (50+)
Grants +o to $nick in $chan (This does not grant AOP to the client)
PROTECT /ChanServ PROTECT $chan $nick SOP+ (100+)
Grants +a to $nick in $chan (This does not grant SOP to the client)
REGISTER /ChanServ REGISTER $chan password description Registered Clients
Allows a registered client to register a (unused and empty) channel.
SENDPASS /ChanServ SENDPASS Founder
Sends the channel password to the email address registered to your nickname.
SET /ChanServ SET $chan option arguements Founder
Allows founders to manage more advanced aspects and controls of their channel. Please use /ChanServ HELP set for the full list of SET available commands.
SOP /ChanServ SOP $chan ADD $nick Founder (1000)
Manages the Auto-ADMIN feature. Auto-ADMIN (SOP) grants auto +ao if a client has it.
Given example would add $nick to the SOP list in $chan
STATUS /ChanServ STATUS $chan $nick SOP+ (100+)
Returns the ACCESS LEVEL value of an online client ($nick) currently in $chan.
TOPIC /ChanServ $chan topiccontent AOP+ (50+)
Allows a channel operator (AOP) or higher to change the channel topic through ChanServ.
UNBAN /ChanServ UNBAN $chan AOP+ (50+)
Allows channel operators (AOP) or higher of $chan to remove all bans preventing them from entering it.
UNSET /ChanServ UNSET $chan arguements Founder (1000)
Allows a founder to clear certain SET options. Arguements can be one of the following: SUCCESSOR, URL, EMAIL, ENTRYMSG
VOICE /ChanServ VOICE $chan $nick HOP+ (40+)
Grants +v to $nick in $chan (This does not grant VOP to the client)
VOP /ChanServ VOP $chan ADD $nick HOP+ (40+)
Manages the Auto-VOICE feature. Auto-VOICE (VOP) grants auto +v if a client has it.
Given example would add $nick to the VOP list in $chan
NickServ (Nickname Server/Service)

Command Usage Example
ACCESS /NickServ ACCESS ADD $ident@$host
Manage the ACCESS list of who nickserv will auto-grant identification and auth to upon matching.
NOTE: Please note this function should not be used without understanding/care as it CAN lead to more easily bypassed authentication for you nick if anyone can easily match the $ident@$host match.
AJOIN /NickServ AJOIN ADD $chan
Manage the Auto-Join channels list for your nick, which will auto-join you to given channels when you identify.
Given example would ADD $chan to the list. You can remove channels by replacing ADD with DEL.
AUTH /NickServ AUTH key
Authenticate the registration via key, which was sent in an email upon registration.
DROP /NickServ DROP password
Drops given nickname and ALL LINK'd Nicks when given the right password. To remove only certain LINK'd nicknames, please use the UNLINK command from your main nick.
IDENTIFY /NickServ IDENTIFY password
Identify to your nickname. This will give you any Auto-* actions/statuses on channels and so on.
INFO /NickServ INFO $nick [ALL]
Looks up registration information on a registered nick. Optional ALL arguement can be placed at the end for more detailed information on a nickname.
GHOST /NickServ GHOST $nick password
Disconnects a dropped connection/client using $nick using its main password. Useful for removing your nick if your connection failed and re-connected but the server still hasn't 'Dropped' the connection, or someone is using your nickname that shouldn't be.
LINK /NickServ LINK $nick
Links/Groups an unregistered nickname to your primary nick without having to switch to it and register it separately.
LISTCHANS /NickServ LISTCHANS
Lists all channels registered to your nick/linked nicks.
LISTLINKS /NickServ LISTLINKS
List all linked nicks to your primary nickname.
RECOVER /NickServ RECOVER $nick password
Like GHOST, this command will kill a dead session/client using your nick, however will make NickServ 'Hold' the nick for 30 seconds so no one can use it immediately after. Use RELEASE to release it from NickServ's hold before the 30 seconds are up.
REGISTER /NickServ REGISTER password emailaddr
Register an unregistered nickname to be your own, this gives you the ability to be placed on Auto-* lists and the such. emailaddr MUST BE VALID. Authentication codes are sent to these addresses to make sure you are a real person registering.
RELEASE /NickServ RELEASE $nick password
Releases NickServ's hold on a nickname after using RECOVER.
SENDAUTH /NickServ SENDAUTH
Will re-send the AUTH validation code incase it was not received the first time. This command is only usable once every 24 hours.
SENDPASS /NickServ SENDPASS $nick
Send the password for $nick to the email it was registered with. To prevent abuse this command can not be used more than once in a 24 hour period.
SET /NickServ SET option arguements
Allows setting of more advanced/fine level control of details of your nickname information. Please use /NickServ HELP SET for the full list of SET available commands.
STATUS /NickServ STATUS $nick
Check if a client has been identified for the nickname they are currently using.
UNLINK /NickServ UNLINK $nick
Will de-link $nick from the list of LINK'd nicknames for your nick.
UNSET /NickServ UNSET option
Gives the client the ability to clear/unset certain SET options for their nick. Available options are URL and INFO.
MemoServ (Memo Server/Service)

DEL /MemoServ DEL
Deletes a user/channel memo depending on the arguements given.
IGNORE /MemoServ IGNORE
Manage the MemoServ ignore list for your nickname or a channel.
INFO /MemoServ INFO
Get details on a nickname/channel MemoServ options/information/
LIST /MemoServ LIST
List all memos for the nick or channel.
READ /MemoServ READ
Read a memo to your nickname or a channel you own.
SEND /MemoServ SEND
Send a memo to a registered nickname or channel.
SET /MemoServ SET
Set more advanced level options for Memoserv settings. Use /MemoServ HELP SET for more information on individual settings.
HostServ (VHost Server/Service)

REQUEST /HostServ REQUEST $host
Request a VHost for use on the Network. Use /HostServ HELP REQUEST for more information on this service.
